Industrial oxalic acid is a dibasic organic strong acid, also known as ethanedioic acid. Due to its molecular structure consisting of two carboxyl groups, oxalic acid exhibits higher acidity compared to other dibasic acids and possesses significant reducing properties. It serves as an essential organic chemical raw material in various industrial applications.

Characteristics:
Oxalic acid appears as colorless, transparent crystals. Compared with most other strong acids, its solid form offers greater convenience in terms of storage and transportation, making it suitable for rail, land, and sea transport.
Applications:
Pharmaceutical Grade Oxalic Acid: Used in the synthesis of antibiotics such as oxytetracycline, tetracycline, sulfamethoxazole, chlortetracycline, and streptomycin, as well as in the production of vitamins (e.g., B6 and B2), phenobarbital, calcium pantothenate, borneol, sodium iodovidone acid, and other pharmaceutical compounds.
Rare Earth Industry: Applied in the extraction and beneficiation of ionic rare earth ores, as well as in the separation and purification of rare earth elements.
Textile Industry: Utilized as a mordant and cleaning agent for cotton and wool fabrics; also functions as a flame-retardant and anti-static agent for cotton textiles.
Metal Processing: Employed for metal surface cleaning and the formation of protective oxide films.
Oxalate Esters Production: Serves as a precursor in the synthesis of various oxalate esters and glyoxylic acid.
Other Industrial Uses: Involved in the manufacturing of coatings, inks, gasoline additives for explosion prevention, concrete corrosion inhibitors, and related products.
Packaging:
The product is packaged in polypropylene woven bags lined with polyethylene film. Standard net weights include 25 kg, 50 kg, and 1000 kg per bag.
Storage and Transportation: Oxalic acid should be stored in sealed containers in a cool, dry warehouse. Packaging must remain tightly closed and moisture-proof. During transportation, the product must be protected from exposure to rain and direct sunlight.
