The latest statistics released by the State Customs show that,In July, China's export volume of diammonium phosphate reached 770000 tons, an increase of 37.5 percent from the previous month, setting a new monthly export high this year.
According to statistics, China exported 2.39 million tons of chemical fertilizer in July, down 15.2 percent year-on-year and up 4.4 percent month-on-month. From January to July this year, China exported a total of 14.32 million tons of chemical fertilizers, a year-on-year decrease of 8.1 percent; the cumulative export value was 3.23 billion billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 25.2 percent. From the perspective of major export varieties, benefiting from the increased demand in India, Pakistan and other places, China's export volume of diammonium phosphate reached 770000 tons in July, an increase of 37.5 percent from the previous month, setting a new monthly export high so far this year and becoming the most eye-catching fertilizer exported in July. However, in July, urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate and other fertilizer species showed a year-on-year decline. In July, 180000 tons of urea were exported, down 33.3 percent from the same period last year. From January to July, a total of 1.9 million tons of urea were exported, down 6.6 percent from the same period last year. 660000 tons of ammonium sulfate were exported, down 3.4 percent from the same period last year. From January to July, a total of 4.24 million tons of ammonium sulfate were exported, up 6.6 percent from the same period last year. Exports of monoammonium phosphate 200000 tons, down 37.1 percent year-on-year; from January to July, the cumulative export of monoammonium phosphate 1.44 million tons, down 15.5 percent year-on-year.
In terms of imports, China imported 1.01 million tons of chemical fertilizer in July, up 26.3 percent year-on-year and 55.4 percent month-on-month. From January to July, a total of 5.88 million tons of chemical fertilizer were imported, down 21.9 percent from the same period last year, and the cumulative import amount was 1.71 billion billion US dollars, down 28.7 percent from the same period last year. The largest import volume was potassium chloride, which was 850000 tons in July, down 1.2 percent from a year earlier. From January to July, the cumulative import volume was 4.71 million tons, down 25.2 percent from a year earlier. The second largest import volume was nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer, with an import volume of 150000 in July.Tons, up 87.5 year on year; From January to July, the total import volume was 870000 tons, down 0.9 percent year on year.
