According to Chinese customs statistics, China exported 1.86 million tons of various fertilizers in June 2022. Among them, 190000 tons of urea, 830000 tons of ammonium sulfate, 200000 tons of diammonium phosphate and 280000 tons of monoammonium phosphate.
From January to June 2022, China exported a total of 9.43 million tons of various fertilizers, a year-on-year decrease of 41.9 percent; the cumulative export amount was 4.353 billion billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 15.4 percent. Among them, urea exports totaled 720000 tons, down 70.1 percent from the same period last year; ammonium sulfate exports totaled 4.78 million tons, up 4.4 percent from the same period last year; diammonium phosphate exports totaled 1.3 million tons, down 59.6 percent from the same period last year; monoammonium phosphate exports totaled 880000 tons, down 53.8 percent from the same period last year.
According to the conversion of nutrients, China's cumulative export of urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium pure nutrients is 2.695 million tons from January to June.

In terms of imports, 650000 tons of various fertilizers were imported in June 2022. Among them, potassium chloride and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer were imported 610000 tons and 30000 tons respectively.
From January to June, potassium chloride imported 4.06 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3; nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer imported 400000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 37.8.
According to the conversion of nutrients, the cumulative import of potassium chloride and ternary compound fertilizer from January to June is 2.628 million tons of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium pure nutrients. From January to June, China's major grain and oil agricultural products (grains, beans and vegetable oils) converted hidden imported chemical fertilizers into pure nutrients reached 4.516 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2 percent.
