The meeting pointed out that chemical fertilizer is an important primary product, and doing a good job in chemical fertilizer production and supply is of great significance to maintaining food security. In 2023, with the great cooperation of relevant departments at all levels and the efforts of key chemical fertilizer production enterprises, the task of ensuring supply of chemical fertilizer production was successfully completed, which made an important contribution to ensuring the annual grain harvest and promoting the continuous increase of farmers' income. At present, the overall situation of fertilizer supply is good, and it is expected to meet the demand for fertilizer at key nodes such as spring ploughing in 2024.

The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, coordinate high-quality development and high-level safety, further consolidate the good work situation of departmental coordination, upper and lower linkages, and enterprise responsibility to ensure the completion of fertilizer production and supply tasks.
