From January to November 2023, China exported 29.17 million tons of various fertilizers with an amount of US $9.141 billion. Among them, 3.4 million tons of various fertilizers were exported in November with an amount of US $1.06 billion. During the month, the number increased by 53.5 per cent and the amount increased by 13.6 per cent over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 30.7 per cent and the amount decreased by 12.7 per cent over the same period last year.
Among them:
Urea exported 520000 tons in November (560000 tons in October), with an amount of US $0.192 billion. From January to November, a total of 3.91 million tons were exported, with an amount of US $1.486 billion. In the same month, the number increased by 38.4 and the amount decreased by 2.5 over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 70.2 and the amount increased by 13.9 over the same period last year.
Ammonium sulfate exported 1.53 million tons in November (1.48 million tons in October), with an amount of US $0.263 billion. From January to November, a total of 12.85 million tons were exported, with an amount of US $2.172 billion. During the month, the number increased by 43.2 per cent and the amount increased by 5.9 per cent over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 14.9 per cent and the amount decreased by 27.0 per cent over the same period last year.
Diammonium phosphate exported 620000 tons in November (440000 tons in October), with an amount of US $0.349 billion. From January to November, a total of 4.67 million tons were exported, with an amount of 2.494 billion US dollars. During the month, the number increased by 206.3 per cent and the amount increased by 125.8 per cent over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 40.3 per cent and the amount decreased by 11.1 per cent over the same period last year.
Monoammonium phosphate exported 220000 tons in November (160000 tons in October), with an amount of US $0.105 billion. From January to November, a total of 1.91 million tons were exported, with an amount of 1.063 billion US dollars. During the month, the number increased by 11.0 per cent and the amount decreased by 39.4 per cent compared with the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 1.0 per cent and the amount decreased by 35.4 per cent compared with the same period last year.
Imports
From January to November 2023, China imported 11.68 million tons of various fertilizers with an amount of US $5.083 billion. Among them, 1.26 million tons of various fertilizers were imported in November, with a total amount of US $0.407 billion. During the month, the number increased by 87.3 per cent and the amount increased by 3.7 per cent over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 41.4 per cent and the amount increased by 12.6 per cent over the same period last year.
Among them:
Potassium chloride imported 1.14 million tons in November (1.08 million tons in October), with an amount of US $0.354 billion. From January to November, 10.29 million tons were imported, with an amount of 4.234 billion US dollars. In the same month, the number increased by 78.7 and the amount decreased by 2.8 compared with the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 40.9 and the amount increased by 10.5 over the same period last year.
Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer imported 80000 tons in November (70000 tons in October), with an amount of US $36.423 million. From January to November, a total of 1.11 million tons were imported, with an amount of 0.692 billion US dollars. During the month, the number increased by 735.9 per cent and the amount increased by 212.9 per cent over the same period last year. Cumulatively, the number increased by 61.4 per cent and the amount increased by 36.9 per cent over the same period last year.
