[Data] China's fertilizer exports increased by 2% and imports fell by 9% in January-October 2020

 Preliminary statistics from China Customs show that from January to October 2020, China exported 3.397 million tons of various large-element fertilizers (including ammonium chloride, potassium nitrate and organic fertilizers for animals and plants, the same below), up 1.8 percent year-on-year; exports amounted to US $5.353 billion billion, down 13.8 percent year-on-year.

Imports

In January-October 2020, China imported a total of 8.969 million tons of various fertilizers, a decrease of 893000 tons or 9.1 percent year-on-year, and a cumulative import amount of $2.459 billion billion, a decrease of 21.5 percent year-on-year.Among them, 808000 tons of fertilizer were imported in October, an increase of 245000 tons or 43.5 per cent over the same period last year, while imports in the month amounted to US $0.195 billion billion, an increase of 6.2 per cent over the same period last year.
